Entourage of 7 Eyewear
Danish Design Influence Meets Exceptional Japanese Craftsmanship
Some eyewear gets your attention immediately.
Entourage of 7 rewards a closer look.
Beautiful proportions. Thoughtful construction. Exceptional materials. Subtle details that become more interesting the longer you spend with the frame.
At Blink Eyewear in Collingwood, we're drawn to independent collections that have a genuine point of view, and Entourage of 7 has one that's immediately recognizable.
Behind the collection is an interesting combination of influences: Danish design sensibility, exceptional Japanese craftsmanship, and a creative history that began with seven people in the eyewear industry coming together to build something of their own.
The result is eyewear that's distinctive without being loud.
Confident without trying too hard.
And exceptionally well made.
The Story Behind Entourage of 7
The Entourage of 7 story began in Los Angeles in 2007, when seven people from within the eyewear industry came together with an idea to create something of their own.
That's where the name comes from.
Entourage of 7.
The number seven represents the seven people who were part of that original meeting, while Danish founder and designer Jakob Talbo remains at the creative heart of the collection today.
In 2013, Entourage of 7 became part of Bellinger House, bringing Jakob together professionally with longtime friends Malene and Claus Bellinger.
That relationship created a collection with an unusual combination of influences.
Danish design.
Japanese craftsmanship.
And an independent spirit that has been there from the very beginning.
What Makes Entourage of 7 Different?
Entourage of 7 has an ease to it.
The shapes often feel familiar at first glance, but something is always slightly unexpected.
A stronger brow.
A beautifully proportioned bridge.
An unusual material combination.
A subtle architectural detail.
A frame that feels as though it could have existed decades ago while still looking completely contemporary.
That's where Entourage of 7 excels.
Rather than reinventing eyewear simply for the sake of being different, the collection takes great shapes and gives them character.
The result feels confident, intelligent, and remarkably wearable.
Danish Design Meets Japanese Craftsmanship
This is where Entourage of 7 becomes particularly interesting.
The collection brings together Danish design influence with exceptional manufacturing in Japan and Denmark.
Japanese eyewear craftsmanship is renowned for its precision, material quality, and extraordinary attention to detail, and those qualities are beautifully reflected throughout Entourage of 7.
Depending on the design, you'll discover beautifully crafted acetate, lightweight titanium, precision metalwork, traditional hinges, double rivets, and sophisticated construction techniques.
These aren't necessarily details that shout for attention.
They're the things you begin to appreciate when you hold the frame.
And even more when you wear it.
How beautifully it sits.
How precisely the components meet.
How substantial it can feel without becoming heavy.
How carefully every surface has been finished.
It's craftsmanship you can feel.
Creativity with Restraint
One of the things we appreciate most about Entourage of 7 is its ability to be creative without becoming excessive.
The designers play with proportion, materials, construction, and references to classic eyewear while keeping the finished frame remarkably wearable.
There may be an unusual bridge.
An unexpected brow line.
A beautiful combination of acetate and metal.
A subtle construction detail that you don't notice until you look more closely.
There's personality.
But there's restraint too.
And that balance is harder to achieve than it looks.
Who Is Entourage of 7 For?
Who Is Entourage of 7 For?

The Blink Perspective
Every collection at Blink has its own personality.
Entourage of 7 is quietly cool.
Not trying-to-be-cool cool.
The kind that comes from getting the proportions, materials, and details right and then knowing when to stop.
Our connection to the collection is also particularly meaningful because Entourage of 7 is part of Bellinger House.
After working with Bellinger for more than 17 years, we've had the opportunity to build a genuine relationship with the people behind these collections.
That matters to us.
One of the reasons we love independent eyewear is the opportunity to understand not only what we're putting on our shelves, but the people, design philosophy, materials, and craftsmanship behind it.
Entourage of 7 has its own identity within Bellinger House.
More restrained.
A little architectural.
Beautifully constructed.
And full of details that reveal themselves the longer you look.
For us, that's what makes the collection so interesting.
