Refurbish & Revitalize

Eyewear often becomes part of everyday life, and sometimes the frames you love simply need a refresh rather than a full replacement. Our Refurbish & Revitalize service focuses on restoring and updating existing eyewear so it can continue to serve you comfortably and clearly.

Depending on the frame condition and design, this may include replacing prescription lenses, restoring frame components, or refinishing certain materials so your eyewear feels balanced and ready for daily use again.

During your visit, we carefully assess your frame to determine what options are available and whether refurbishing the eyewear is the best long-term solution.

Replacing Prescription Lenses

If your prescription has changed but you still enjoy your current frame, replacing the lenses may be an option. Modern lenses are custom manufactured for each prescription and frame combination, allowing many frames to be refreshed with new lenses when the structure and condition allow.

During your visit we review lens options such as:

• Single vision lenses
• Progressive lenses
• Reading glasses
• Bifocals and trifocals
• High-index lenses for stronger prescriptions
• Lightweight lens materials
• Traditional optical glass lenses
• Polarized lenses for sunwear
• Custom tints and photochromic lenses (Transitions®)

If you would like to update the lenses in your existing frame, we recommend booking an In-Store Selection appointment or contacting us to discuss your options.

Frame Repair & Restoration

Some eyewear requires more than simple adjustments. Depending on the frame design and condition, we may be able to restore frames through more involved repair work.

For structural repairs such as broken bridges, hinge replacements, or damaged temples, frames may be sent to a specialized repair technician who performs advanced restoration work.

These repairs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and depend on the frame material, construction, and overall condition.

We may also be able to improve the appearance of certain frames through acetate frame buffering, a process that gently refinishes the surface of acetate frames to restore their finish.

Assessment & Repair Appointments

If your eyewear requires repair, we recommend booking an Adjustments appointment so we can assess the frame and review the available options with you.

These appointments are typically 15 minutes and allow us to evaluate the frame condition, determine whether repair or refurbishment is possible, and explain the next steps.

In some cases, replacement eyewear may ultimately be the safer or more reliable option, and we will guide you through those choices if needed.

To update lenses in an existing frame, book an In-Store Selection appointment.

If your eyewear requires repair or structural assessment, book an Adjustments & Minor Repairs appointment so we can evaluate the frame and review the available options with you.
